Think of the direction in which your thumb moves on the controller. If you need to shuffle R or L would be the top, the short hop (x or y button) being the middle, and the A Buttom + direction being the bottom.
So if you try that function from neutral. You will shield (R or L), Short Hop (x or y), Arial (fair, dair, bair ect), (Repeating the function starts here) R this time will no L cancel for you, x or y will short hop, and then from there you can go into Wave Dash to tech chase, or another shuffle to continue to zone.
It's hard to explain unless you watch what your hands are doing, but once you get a good rhythm of it you can repeat that function very quickly and can "Mash" it out any time you need it.

Generally as a result of fighting someone up close? Shield their dash attack into a short hopped dair from Roy, tech chasing into either up tilt or uair pending on percent.

I know the feels, I separated my left shoulder snowboarding. I missed my first hockey game and have had to be at home and go to college from home for the past week. That is the only nice thing about being in town, is that when I get injured I don't need to skip classes and be back home, I can do both. I can't like do anything and I've been in a sling since last week  .
