Actual game question in the IH thread? For Janna, you typically want to position yourself as a buffer. Enemy, you, then your ADC, in some sort of linear formation. If enemy dives in, Howling Gale first then Zephyr after they come back down. Minimize spell overlap for obvious reason. If your ADC has a brain, he'll be kiting to the best of his ability. Monsoon is essentially an "oh shit"/reset button. If you fail to zone with the rest of your kit, Monsoon to create distance off your carries immediately. The optimal Monsoon is when you can get into the middle of a fight and Monsoon enemies into various directions. Channel it fully for the heal and move speed debuff while your team picks off individual enemies blow into your team. Your shield should actually be prioritized for your ADC harass, not to mitigate damage imo. If you allow your ADC to get ahead in trades, it makes all your future Shields that much more effective. Edit: Also, Janna is your quintessential "babysit" Support. She is far more reactive and aggressive. If you're not in position to save your carry(s), that's on you. Flash/Monsoon if you have to but better anticipation and readiness solves that. Aggressive Flash/Monsoon for the big plays in lane. Hit 6. Flash/Monsoon enemy into your turret. Amazing. | ||

Between, Q, W, E, exhaust you already have a ton of protect your carry if need be. As good as flash ults look, it plays a pretty minimal part of Janna's kit (especially because in the instance of single picks, you usually can just slow them, Q them while walking past them to ult them into your team if need be). Flash ulting for a bad version of Gragas ult is rarely optimal. As for shielding, that's a lot of twitch and anticipation, imo. Once you get used to "oh he's moving up to harass", E-ing your carry becomes not too difficult. Edit: @_@ Neo you play Janna lane totally different than me. lol | ||

In lane, I do. But into midgame, you have to pretty much lead the way imo. Technically, you can catch Dora the Explorer enemies roaming around. Passive Janna is kinda boring. Edit: Also, I'm taking into consideration of xes saying it was at Dragon. You cannot be in the back in a Dragon fight. You have to be in the middle of the fray and disrupt as much as possible. Don't be afraid to trade your life if your team wins off your Monsoon and picks up more kills for your death. | ||

We had Korean bot lane who fed off his ass and the score was like legit 3-15. We tried to teamfight a few times and we just couldn't. You think we should have continued to play that game out?
