Turns out lissandra is like the perfect pick against most of the more common tops right now, absolutely slaughters them in lane with the strong harass, push, escape, juking and outplay potential. Took a while, but I think I'm finally back into a good mentality and playing well, which is good because I have less than 10 days left to hit diamond before I leave for a land of much higher ping and unfamiliar setups. | ||

Only played against one irelia so far(won against like 4 jax though, fairly similar matchups), and she got wrecked. She has one gap closer that will let her get on top of you. W root is lower CD than bladesurge until later on, and irelia can't deal with pushing. Claw doesn't necessarily need to put you in a position to escape, it just needs to move you out of melee range after Irelia's blown Q so you can continue raining down harass because she can't close. Post 6 you have 3 ways of stopping irelia from hitting you. | ||

I was playing ahri, and level 1 we did an invade. 3v3 fight at their red, Their Syndra wasn't their, our AD was farming. There was a long drawn out fight, and we sort of won it... no one died, but we forced them all back, and only I had to back from my team. Our Jungler and support took their red. Problem was, I was Ahri, rocking Ignite and E level 1, and by the time I got to lane Syndra was a couple creeps from level 3. Because of her superior range, and level advantage (and my general being a noob at middle lane, Ahri in general, and not really knowing much about syndra except that she is a huge bully), I got absolutely cleaved in lane. Was losing in CS by a factor of 2 all game. I didn't die or feed, but I definitely was getting zoned and outplayed. I just built like full retard Magic Penetration, Dring -> Abyssal -> Sorc Shoes ->LW ->Liandries, shoved as hard as I could and ganked lanes all day. Finished the game 12/1/7, dealing the most damage and in general carrying. Felt good man. That Syndra was so salty too, rofl. SYNDRA: "I crushed you in lane noob!" ME: "Yeah, good job in lane. You showed me.  " SYNDRA: "*EXPLETIVES!*" Best way to carry from middle as a Jungle main; Make your Jungler hold mid all game and just pretend to be a jungler anyway and gank all the things. On a related note, holy shit Ahri has good ganks... If only she could clear the jungle... | ||

I like Alistar, Shen and Oriana but my friend said Shen sucks. I'm already level 30 and such so I'm not exactly playing with first-timers. edit: I don't enjoy right-click heros (ADCs?). How do you survive at mid vs heroes like Brand. My friend says I'm just bad and his abilities are easy to dodge but at level 2, he dishes out a lot so early on and that AOE is pretty massive. | ||
