His duo partner (Kat) and I (Wukong) were like 12-5 each at the 30 min mark and we end up winning every 4v5 just on our initiate + burst alone. Why you gotta be so nooooooooob? I'm gonna carry you anyway.

zer0das United States8519 Posts June 30 2014 07:25 GMT #2902 I ran into Saintvicious in ARAM and my team won (though to be fair we had Kog/Anivia/Kayle, which is sort of obnoxious). I think one of the others was likely a Crs smurf too, although I have no idea who. I don't think Saint hit a single chain of corruption on me that was actually aimed at me (like 3-4 at least). I think I've also ascended into "feed to victory king" territory (started 1-9-4, finished 17-21-17- chewed up the bruisers who had big slows mid game). At one point it was 1v5 with me defending our two Nexus towers as Graves- managed to stay alive despite being withered/ice balled, then turn around and kill most of them when Kayle respawned. Lost a nexus tower, but it kept us in the game. Surviving ~10 seconds solo against that while being enough threat they just don't roll your turrets is not fun. Most of them were pretty low (except Saint, who was really the only one who didn't try to kill me- split focus cost them), and that played into my favor a bit.

Was even against a guy that was Plat IV that was in his promos (sorry that I made you have to re-do promo's). So apparently my MMR is around Plat level.

Two points in E is actually enough for early clear dump the rest in Q for maximum mobility+CC. IE rush is NOT suggested if opponents are grouping and you dont have a tank on your team, but works out extremely well if its still going to be small skirmishes. Lizard elder + 60ms boots for obvious reasons. Brut isnt as good as a BF sword, nor is it better than straight giants belt/chainmail into fire cape. The CDR is nice but the lizards already provide the same amount compared to a top lane garen Its like riven jungle - if you went both Lizard and Brutalizer you actually lose out on damage overall, even though your skills are up faster. Early game ganking is about that burst damage, not the trading. Having your skills up faster isnt gonna do squat if the target already ran off to hug the tower. Garen jungle is ridiculously strong vs an all AD opponent team - too tanky to burst down, and easily rips through squishies with almost no damage items. With IE no squishy melee can out duel you, and will probably die from your ulti before the 2 second silence is up. Obviously if both the mid and top are AP you gonna have a bad time when flash is down

scrubtastic 1166 Posts July 12 2014 12:05 GMT #2915 my normals mmr has been increasing this wouldn't be noteworthy except that the normals i've been playing lately seem to have zero rage and very low trash talk in chat. it's...pleasant communication is lots of pinging, a few words to accompany it if needed ("we need a pick", "dragon in 30 sec", "focus champion X" etc), occasional praise for a good play, and "gg" at the end -we get semi-troll picks and builds and people don't care -there seems to be an implicit understanding that most of us aren't on their main champions or roles and people that lose lane hard don't get raged at; they just get extra attention -if we're getting 100% destroyed it's a quiet FF; no arguments and most often just a polite GG from the enemy team i kinda don't wanna go back to ranked now lol

I was playing on my lap top, was told by my team in soloqueue I should play AD because of the lot of us my ADC stats were the best on lolking. I begrudgingly agreed. Normally my mechanics are decent but on a laptop.... not so much. I misclicked and then my screen fucked up.... essentially i clicked their tower and alttabbed I ended up walking into them and feeding first blood level one. Meanwhile, every other lane of ours died 1v1. Game went like full bronze. rofl. Their Trist and Leona just all in'd over and over again, and tbh I fed. Hard. Down like 20-0 at the ten minute mark, some how we manage to splitpush and pick them off to victory. They dived like three towers twice in a row and then me and our Fizz were both like 0/5/0 and we just split hard, getting towers and such. Game ended with a 5v5 fight at baron at 50 minutes, where they ignored me, the useless Laptop w/ shitty mouse AD carry. However, at this point I had 4 items but was still "underfed." I was able to a-click and then just keep attacking, they literally didn't pressure me at all. PENTAKILL! Me as Cait kills them all! Holyfuck..... TIL high plat players are complete garbage. I'm literall shaking. That game. o.o

zer0das United States8519 Posts July 16 2014 08:01 GMT #2918 Probably the weirdest team comp any team I've been on has won with: Fizz/Shaco/Tryn/Cait/Nami won against: Annie/Warwick/Malphite/Jinx/Fiddlesticks No one on our side even really got that fed, though we did have an early lead (like 9-3 and up a dragon and a tower). But after that our gold lead never really grew until the game was effectively over, and given the weird team comp I wouldn't have expected for that to be enough.
