Finally scored an internship for the summer, and it's literally the best possible one. First, it's a healthcare company. Second, it's literally 6 minutes away. Finally, I asked for a higher salary, and they gave me a higher salary. I start Monday and I'm hyped AF. League might be lagging like crazy for me, but I don't even care. | ||

I did so poorly, only won 3 games out of the 10 in my series, get placed in Silver 1 (was gold 2 last season). Just won 4 straight in a row, qualified for series. Getting around 25-30 pts per win. 3 blitz wins and a Singed win, feelz good man. | ||

On my smurf things went really ugly. I think I went 1-3 initially and started to meet up with bronze players... and let's just say some of them were pretty big trolls. I was lucky to land in silver 2 at the end, I feel. | ||

Wow, taht's really fucking weird. considering I only won 3 of my placements. I was gold 2, but I was climbing pretty fast towards the end of s3, I was still getting 25+ lp per win. So I think my mmr was near plat 5 or plat 4, so maybe that's why placements were really hard, and I managed to still get silver 1 somehow. | ||

My placements were hard because my team were retards, essentially. I even lost a game in bronze vs bronze/silver players. In any case, if you win the first a few placements you will be good to go. If you did not (like me), you would sink so low that it would take forever to crawl out. | ||

I've improved so much this summer watching streams, and trying my hand on random champions. I'm so glad I finally did it! Now I'm done tryharding. Time for all the Jayce/Nid Jungles and Jayce mids even if we don't have magic damage. Gonna actually temporarly stop playing for a while. It's so awesome to get off my chest. I mentioned it in one of my blogs but I really want to get good at this game. And use it as a measure of my abilities. :D 3-1 Blitz (smurf) invade followed by enemy ahri afk(dc?)ed for like 10 minutes into a 19-3 allied Fiora roflstomp. I played boarPigLady. Apparently when your team takes the first inhib before 15 minutes you don't get any gold cuz you can't farm jungle or fight for lane creeps. ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/F73hJ1Z.png) And the game before that I got to try Jayce mid for the first time and roflstomped a Zyra in lane. My entire team carried in that game. 771 stack Nasus. Supergank Lee Sin. The game before that I was Garen vs Pantheon top and I won lane due to a failed dive but couldn't convert the advantage much. In retrospect sunfire cape + tabi rush would have done just as well. | ||

I just played the most ridiculous game. I got paired with what must have been an ELO boosted Corki bottom lane. Guy was so so so bad. COuldn't last hit for shit, couldn't trade for shit, couldn't teamfight for shit. About five minutes into lane, everyone is level 4, the opposing team picked Naut / Draven. I was Thresh. Draven clearly was not an AD player either, but he could last hit, just really didn't understand the whole always use your max range thing (or maybe he had really really bad lag, I dunno). I had him harrassed down to about 40% HP, he needed to go buy, he just really did. Was getting ready to go and I hooked him through his creeps as one died, went balls deep with Q-pull back-Q-Auto-E-Auto him and both my auto attacks from my 1% crit chance runes crit. Dude dies. Meanwhile Nautilus just went balls deep on my corki, chased him under tower after landing his Q on him. I walk back and auto this nautilus from my tower all the way to his and eventually kill himunder his tower while taaking a tower shot. DOUBLE KILL. Corki, who is alive with 80% HP doesn't get a single assist. ROFL. Chat is just like 10 lines of "lolololol wtf." I was rocking Trinity Force Thresh at the 12 minute mark. That was fun. Game ends at 22 minutes with us taking their nexus. After 10 minute mark I asked my team if I could just take Corki's CS (he had a stellar 33 creeps even though we were zoning the crap out of Draven / Naut), not a single person (well, aside from Corki) minded. Thresh is 12/6/19. Corki is 2/8/13. I did 27K Damage (Trinity, BotRK, Sunfire, Banshee), corki did only 13k. That was the weirdest game I've ever played. But god damn that was fun. | ||

*sheepish grin..* To be fair though, in any average game Corki clicks my lantern and collects first blood and a double kill and proceeds to get huge and carry the game anyway. I like to think it was fate. EDIT: i retract that, in any typical game other team first picks thresh instead of naut. loool. All naut is is a really bad version of Thresh. Thresh minus Lantern, and a worse slow. And no damage. | ||
