Played Quinn and Varus yesterday, twice the Leona support destroyd the lane by trying for mindless trades. Then they catch people outside laning phase and they proceed to think they're gods.
Fuck people who only think they can mindlessly go in.
As Quinn I was facing Vayne and Nami. Ofcourse Leona goes in at 6 on the Nami when she has flash. Vayne is free to completely aa is to death because, guess what, Nami has good peel.
Fuck people 98% of people who play Leona.
Also, played Kennen mid yesterday. Destroyed. Our team was doing well. And then their splitpush Udyr came in. What a bullshit champ once he had TF/Zephyr. Could not catch him, and our team used THREE people to defend against ONE champ while the four remaining champs barraged down our mid inhib turret.
That indecisiveness by one of the most initiators on our team can just flatout lose you games by being complacent for just 5-10 seconds is just bullshit.

Level 7-8, 50 CS, 12 minutes, 2 deaths:
Berzerker's Greaves, Brawler's Gloves - I HAVE seen this before! This is the part where I politely remind them they need to build damage before they waste more money AS and Crit.
Level 10, 70 CS, 18 minutes, 4 deaths, lost our turret:
Avarice Blade, Dagger - !!!!!!!!!! Dude, you need to build DAMAGE
Level 12, 100 CS, 25 minutes, 6 deaths, 2 assists, enemy at mid inhib, my team won't surrender:
Static Shiv, Vamp Scepter...
Just fucking typical. And this isn't just pre-30. It happens right up to low gold. Like, what the fuck is WRONG with these people? How is something as easy as a build order so fucking difficult for these idiots to figure out? Would 15 seconds on probuilds.net kill them?
And people wonder why players get toxic? It's because we're trapped with these retards for 40 minutes. Every. Fucking. Game.

Sure. its my third year here. The lack of culture and humane education is already last decades story. Old news. Boring. But it still gets to me sometimes. i completely agree with you. I'm not Chinese but have lived there. I also have a lot of Chinese friends abroad who have the mindset that you mention. I think it has a lot to do with the Chinese mentality of obsession of achieving success combined with the family values. Sure family values are important, but the Chinese family values place everything above everyone who isn't part of the family. Hypo situation, if someone could donate the government's money to someone, I'm guessing many would rather give $10 to a family member (choice A) than $1000 to a stranger who really really needs the money (choice B).
Combine the "Success no matter what" mentality with the "me and my family only" mentality and you get a ruthless society that tries to undercut each other with no compassion for anyone who you don't see as "useful to your life"
A part of that can be blamed on Confucianism, but many traditional and historical things as well. China is a rich country, but the people and standard of living is still very poor (except few wealthy). This adds onto the fact that many will willingly go into a bad path just to undercut another person.

I'm still in awe that my friend who is a self proclaimed 'bot main' went vamp scepter into berserker grieves into flask into zeal into statik shivv into botrk. On graves, while running lifesteal runes. And told me with a straight face that he thought it was a good build path. Dude is gold 1 from decay now, but actually hit plat 1 during the season. League of legends makes no sense.
I mean, I see some really good ADC's do some interesting build paths on certain champions to increase their AS/Crit earlier than "usual". Things like:
2nd Dorans - BF - Boots1 - Shiv - Boots2 - IE/BT on auto-reliant ADC's
Cutlass - Greaves - Shiv - BorK
2nd Dorans - Pickaxe - Boots1, Shiv - IE - Greaves
I see these builds and they're rushing AS/Crit, but they all make sense! They get enough damage so that they don't tickle, then rush to Shiv for the AS, splash, and crit, then finish their first item.
But to RUSH Greaves+Shiv before even buying a second Doran's Blade? WTF?! Hell, I'd even accept an Avarice blade rush into Damage. At least I could see how that would make sense to somebody, they say "If I buy an early Avarice Blade and sit on it for a while, I will make extra gold." But to sit on it for what, 5 minutes til you can finish Shiv?
I just don't understand some people...

These games are so disheartening. 6+ streak of me winning or at least going even in lane, but at least 2 ppl have been feeding like crazy and then the fed guy comes to dive me and end the game. Also, nobody in gold knows how to stall and not make things worse, they just go in 2v5 a bunch of times to make it absolutely certain that we won't win.

Fuck Soraka. Who at Riot actually thought that the reworked version of her would be less retarded and annoying than the pre-rework one? The whole thing where she gives up health to heal her ally is an illusion to make you think she actually has to pay for those heals. The AoE on Starcall is so generous that not getting hit generally comes down to her fucking up rather than you actively dodging it. 120 point heal on a 4 second cooldown at rank 1? Seems totally reasonable.

So I get a zed who afks at 20 mins cause Nasus is too strong. Ok, standard shitty attitude retard, whatever. Report and move on.
Then in the next game, I get the same guy. I didn't realize it was the same guy until after someone else (who was also on my team the last game) pointed it out to me. Does the exact same thing because our jungle Rengar dies to Blitz at level 1. Afk's at 10 minutes because Rengar's first blood ruined the game, according to him. Second autoloss.
I queue up a third time, and I get him AGAIN! Three fucking times in a row. I should have known to wait to queue up again, but I've never had the same person in 3 games in a row before. Can't Riot do something to make it so the same people you report in the last game don't end up on your team in the following game?

So I've finally got into Plat promos, being on a pretty nice win streak with adc's. 1st promo game, I see some premades, one guy picks mid and the 2nd one picks Kalista and instalocks and says "it's my first time Kalista". I pick Leona support. We somehow (I think it was actually me alone) won the bot lane vs Draven/Thresh but dude is just fucking horrible once the lane phase is over. Managed to feed a lot and once I've noticed the big DEFEAT splash on my screen, I've checked TOTAL damage dealt to champions and guess what.
I had more dmg dealt with a fucking Leona than our ADC. WTF IS THIS ?!

You don't have to tell me this. I know it's pre-season and people don't give a fuck about stats/ranks and mmr but hey, such people as me exists, that they try to grind out their mmr as highest as possible and ruining someones promos is not nice, especially that this game was an easy win if we had a decent ADC that could dps in teamfights.

I'm gonna play devils advocate here and say I do this; I play new champs in ranked. The way I see it, normals is where people go to dick around, and I don't want that. If I show weakness, if I leave myself open to be destroyed, I want a competent opponent who will do that destroying for me, to teach me how bad I screwed up.
Examples of lessons learned:
I started playing vlad. I got anal raped over and over, even pressing w and turning my aching anus into liquid didn't lessen the pain until I learned that compared to most other tops vlad is a tiny, useless girlypony until he hits 11 or so.
Then I played Jax. First time ever, three games in a row I hard carried. His entire kit is complete fucking facroll bullshit, I was disgusted. Apparently he's getting buffed in the next patch. So lesson learned here is if you're drunk and you simply must play lol, pick Jax and right click. Occasionally you may have to click one of your own minions or a ward to escape a gank. Maybe press e, or don't.

I think it's kinda funny that people feel bad about being heavy in ranked but it's perfectly ok to shit up normals, where from what I understand most of the playerbase spend most of their time :p
