Those people are usually the ones who have just started playing rankes. Calmly explaining the difference usually works for me.

You're so right. I was in ranked once and we all organized who would play what during ban phase. Then this super cool guy decided he was going to change what position to play because obv pick order>communication, leaving me the time of one pick to figure out wtf everyone was playing and what a good champ was going to be. I'm so glad that guy taught me a better way.

Why don't people just use their skins in normals or something - is it really that important to show it off in ranked and ruin your team's chance at winning because you're playing a champ you don't know how to play?

I beat a Gold I Lee Sin in lane as Karthus (with no armor runes at all because I was expecting Rumble mid) and my team managed to lose. "Please buy 2 wards before you go splitpush" -- disregarded over and over again. "Voli, can you peel for Tristana so that Lee Sin doesn't 1 shot her?" -- Nope, just get kited by Ashe all day.
Honestly I don't know how to carry the blind any more. I tell people about objectives in advance and they don't come to contest. I ask people to clear lanes and they chase people forever. I put wards in the jungle on carry roles and people still facecheck stuff after I watch 2 people pass through the ward.

Someone left a game where I was 5-0 as Elise top to go watch Pacific Rim. What the fuck. At least watch a good movie. This is a gold level ranked game. We almost won 4v5 anyways.

Secret to success is getting Black Belt Udyr and telling everyone you wanna play with your new skin.

Placement matches to get into gold 1. First game, 16-3-16 as Singed. Still lose. Second game, get same shitty duo. Start 4-0 as Kassadin vs Talon, STILL LOSE. WHY.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how well you play or how much wisdom you impart to your teammates about picking the right fights. Sometimes 1 asshole can throw a game by himself because fuck everyone else.

Well mister TF. Rest of the team was disengaging from a bad fight, i would of needed 3 riftwalks and 1 flash to get to you. Sorry that i dont have riftwalk in my kit.
And this is just one example... Every game i lose there is this one dude, who does stupid shit, and instantly starts to blame it on others, because they are gods, so they cant do anything wrong.

What are you building on Ez? If you're going blue ez, there's a good chance you're losing because you don't have the raw damage output to win. You can be a huge bully in lane, but in a real fight blue ez has pretty lousy damage so you need your teammates to pick up the slack so to say.
