As graves, i missed a flash-E-Q-R. Some diamond player started shouting at me I was sad. But srsly, fuck that ARAM map, i get 25 steady FPS on summoners in massive fights but never above 15-20 in ARAM. When they released this garbage map they were all "Players on laptops should experience 20% performance boost!" So, i would have had 8 FPS on PBE or something? Because i sure as hell didnt get any boost. The difference between 25-30 fps and even just 15-20 is huge. 10 is un-fucking-playable. | ||

I mean, sure the Tribunal could click "punish" without reading, but I prefer to take the risk (also knowing that bigger bans are manually reviewed before being enforced, thus normally avoiding possible false positives) than let a flamer run loose. I played Nautilus top last game. As in, until around 7 minutes in, I spent my time farming top. Our top laner didn't disconnect. He was just a retarded moron picking Ignite/Exhaust and no MR runes Pantheon versus Rumble top and Lee jungle, and then proceeded to go 2-1 when Lee stole the red (we were purple side) and rushed him into 5-4 as he spent the aforementioned first 7 minutes of the game ignoring the creep wave to rush Rumble, dive him, and die to the tower (earning Rumble a kill). Our botlane got destroyed in the process (Graves/Leona losing to Ezreal/Sona who didn't do golems is stupid as shit, especially when after his first back Ez had only dblade+Tear, but hey), but since I had to stop the creeps from crashing into the tower top, I couldn't go all the way down and help them. Rumble showed up to the first fights with a large kill lead despite his pathetic farming, and a nice Seeker's/Sorcs/Guise core. It's gotta be said that dumbass Pantheon managed to die everytime I wasn't in the bush to zone Rumble because of his habits, and afterwards TF hit 6 and Pantheon not buying wards and keeping the bullshit going had earned him 4-5 more deaths, and as many kills and assists for Rumble, TF and sometimes Lee. Panth ? Some guys have a bad game. But you're an utter moronic half-wit not even able to read what the rest of the team told you, and despite your being in Silver IV I've spectated a good deal of Bronze players displaying more game knowledge and basic LoL common sense than you. Get fucked, please. | ||

I also did agree that some of the stories are entertaining. I guess my naive goal with these posts is to create a utopia where no one ever rages or has a bad mentality, starting with TL, the premier esports community. Otherwise, I might as well participate in r/leagueoflegends or Riot forums. | ||

Being disappointed or angry at myself works wonders for me for motivation, but I guess it doesn't count as rage when you don't flame others? In other news: I gank bot twice and get our cait 3/0/1 vs the enemy 0/2/0 Vayne. Next time I check that same Vayne is 16/2. | ||

And what about people that start trolling because you picked MF top ? Like, Heimerdinger and Nunu Flash/Smite, both ends at 1/23/2 and 0/22/1, plus a Soraka that fed Yorick top (and even when he was 3/0 I was able to outtrade him), had smite/revive, afk half the game and ends up at 1/11/1. Oh, obviously they were flaming as fuck. But guess what ? When we asked the opposite team to report them, our 3 feeders said "they instalocked" (talking about Talon and me), which was false, and the 5 of them got on their side. I mean, they say "they instalocked", which was false, they have no proof, while it's OBVIOUS they were feeding them on purpose (Soraka goes on Yorick "hit me once I go turret" multiple times), and they were flaming in ALL CHAT, ffs they saw it, but no, better report the only 2 that were trying to play. Heimer was also like "hey dance at baron", and they all go, wtf. Started the game by planning to report 3, ended up reporting 8, fucking bunch of stupid retarded motherfuckers. | ||

2nd game I play a very good Thresh against Leona, get our Kog quite fed. Our mid Yi goes AD (with 5 zeals) when we have like 0 magic damage aside from me and Koggles- still, not enough to really be a huge threat. I get demoted in a game I went 1/1/13. I get the fact you don't always win games you do well in, but if he just went effing AP we probably would have won. Exacerbated by the fact he was obsessed with split pushing and my team ran headlong into stupid 4v5s (not that it mattered, we were bleeding towers and Yi couldn't 1v1 anyone on the enemy team). | ||

I check their stats and I see that they have 800 normal games and 600 ranked games. I tell them, you're not a smurf and even if you were, adc is the worst position for carrying since you so heavily depend on your support. I believe that if you really are a much better player, you should take mid or top and win your lane easily without need for ganks. So I support the draven smurf-claiming adc as an alistair. He is overly aggressive and I have a hard time following him. He blames me for every mimsshap and flames everyone else as well. I tell him: look, I am playing to the best of my ability (bronze II). I really don't know how to play any better. I told you, smurfs don't carry as ADC. We end up winning the game, not thanks to our carry. All our team reported him :D | ||

Got into a game today where everyone was squabbling over who got what, so i picked support as FP to help some ppl play what they felt comfortable with. The AD carry starts auto attacking minions, i ask her to stop. She says she doesn't understand why. I explain last hitting mechanics, she rages at me. She has 40 cs at 22 mins. We lose handily, at around 30 mins. I lose 25 LP. My last 3 wins were for 1 LP and they were all 40+ min games. I have these sort of games all the time (3-27 in my last 30 games). I never go negative, i buy wards, I work as a team, and i still get shit on by the ranked system. It makes me not want to play Riot's game. I think they should improve the Ranked system. | ||

TL;DR the system works, it's just deliberately unintuitive, so to simplify things consider your current league/division placement as a landmark on the road to your long term placement. (And yes, people usually take it badly because it's telling them "yo, if you lose more LP than you gain it's because you're worse than your current league, it's not your "true level" but a peak".) | ||

You not being there can have pretty large influences on the rest of the players on your team, even if you later manage to come back somehow. It usually means that your jungler has to hold mid for a long period of time, meaning that the enemy has free roam on the rest of the map. There no longer is any risk of ganks or counterganks, and they can easily invade any buff they like because they always have a numbers advantage. | ||
