This will be exciting.
My bet is that Serral will win, but it will be a close series, 5-4 or 5-3 for Serral.

Top 8 could have literally shaped out differently depending on the bracket, which is why I think having such a prize gap for 2nd - 8th is a silly. We got really lucky to get a Serral Classic finals since it's hard to argue that they aren't the best two there. They very easily could have met prior and one of them would be "top 4".
Yeah I dunno how you can critique Solar this tourney. He demolished two good to very good Protoss in Zoun and HerO. His series vs Shin was a bit funny where it looked like he had it won and almost blew it but he got there in the end. Then of course he only just got edged out by Clem in a super competitive series.

Serral lost 1 drone to the first adept, the HSC couch would call GG already.

MASS ORACLE LET'S GO!
EDIT:
Nevermind, he stopped at four for some reason...

damn classic is cooking
premature imo

My European bias is being easily overwhelmed by my deeply ingrained need to see Protoss win something after 10 years.
Let's go Classic, crush this nerd.

People thought he was bad at TvZ because he kinda was in 2023-2024, but from what I have seen Cure has improved a lot in the match-up in 2025 That’s why those games were so close vs Serral at times Not enough for Serral but enough for Solar, especially since Solar is weirdly better style wise versus Clem than versus the other KR terrans usually Meh think making claims for last year needs an asterisk, Like Artosis mentioned in the interview, the maps were so egregiously Terran favored (Crimson court LOL, Amphion, etc.) that you really can't fault anyone for underperforming. Also you can't fault Clem for taking advantage of the the time. I dunno if that’s fair on Clem, guy was playing out of his mind in that span rather than really taking advantage of a particular advantageous meta IMO

those oracles did absolutely nothing. Classic didn't expect Serral to build Queens

Oh.
He got a-moved by Roaches.
The game had potential to be exciting with the Oracle opening, but he didn't commit...
Sadge...

Well those oracles did nothing.

Yeah no idea why he didn't wait for at least 2 more when it wasn't scouted, could have easily snowballed especially when he had the voidray to help with spores.
oh well gg go next

A single overlord defeated Classic in Game 2?

is insane how a zerg can get so much of a lead with no drawback, i mean 80supply over the toss... so how are you supposed to stop that?
|
I don't get going for blink then at least not trying to deny creep (which is about the only thing Serral has been pretty lackluster at doing this tournament).
That could have gone into being an upgrade ahead.

It's always been like this.
Nothing unusual about it, especially when Protoss gets their third base delayed rather heavily.
