The only potentially close final is Dark vs Maru

Cure has been playing more standard and hes not very aggressive neither, which favor Maru style into lategame. And the last time Cure beat Maru in a Bo5+ was almost 4 years ago, in DH Summer 2020, other than that Cure victory has been Bo3. How many did they play? Since then I mean. It’s been a long, long while since Maru was basically untouchable in TvT, standard vs standard. He certainly didn’t look bulletproof against Byun, and those were mostly stock standard games. Cure still needs a strong series, but it’s absolutely doable.

And while Maru is not untouchable in TvT, I think hes still the best at it, but we will see.

He did show that in Masters Colliseum at least in Bo3 before losing 0-3 in playoffs. IMO very day to day. Praying for us all that we get peak Maru vs peak Serral but its probably cursed and we get Cure vs Serral

Unless Maru has some grand scheme to lose 20 workers to auto turrets so players use all their raven energy against him and he can win with a push.

Thats what he tried to do in game 4 but Byun held it almost perfectly. But yeah, how hard is it to make an effing Viking to shut that shit down along with the Cyclone drop.

I’d still have Maru as the favourite, but he’s not the absolute lock he once was

Serral's is only a few months long and will be part of a special "sports" unit that will let him practice some and attend events with special permission. It's TBD how much practice Serral will actually get and how much he can attend though, but he'll probably still get to go to the biggest tournaments.

I think Dark's chances against Serral shrink as they approach the lategame, but it's ZvZ and if only for his trickery Dark is more than a dangerous opponent in every other phase of the game.
