Serral choked last year to make us miss the match up. It's probably Maru's turn this year.

Or Both of them will screw it, like how Maru lost to Rogue and Serral lost to Zest 4 years ago.

Maru lost to Cyan and beat everyone else. Cyan beat Maru and lost to everyone else. What black magic did Cyan use against Maru?

If Maru and Serral were switched, I can see them in the final. But like this... one is gonna slip in a mirror

Don't over think it. It's just Maru being Maru.

Man Dark is a ski-jumping savant, what a glide!

I really don't see how everyone thinks that Cure has better TvP than Maru/Clem currently. Even compared to Byun, I don't think you could say that he's definitely better.
All 4 rarely lose TvPs to anyone but herO and MaxPax, and if you look at their matches against herO specifically, they all have a winning record over the last 6 months except Cure who's about 25% in matches. Granted, a lot of that is in online cups

If Maru and Serral were switched, this would be ideal brackets for both of them.

Does that trophy bring dark into the top ten??

Peak Maru is the best in all 3 Terran matchups. Unfortunatley he rarely shows his a-performance. I think that might be one reason :D

TBF Maru losing to Rogue is no big surprise. If there's anyone that has consistently shown they know exactly how to beat Maru it's Rogue.

Clem is actually quite lucky with the draw: just tvz.

When did he eliminate him the first time?

Solar has a winning offline record against Clem, Serral, and Dark. Wonder how many tournaments he could have won if Maru didn't exist

Last year at Katowice. It was a pretty embarassing loss for Serral too if you watch how it happened.

Yeah, he must still have nightmares about leaving that last match

Stylistically I think Cure has close to the widest range, and is a very stable player in TvP. Peak Maru can outdo him and blow a Toss with sheer aggression, but the other edge of that sword is occasionally he comes unstuck playing overly aggressive.
Clem and Byun can steamroll you with mechanics and raw control. If they’re not able to break them though sometimes they can run out of steam, whereas Cure I think can take that step back to breathe.
I wouldn’t say Cure is outright the best, although historically he’s absolutely up there, but he is probably the most rounded overall and that’s a good attribute to have for these Bo5+ pressure series
