I already said it once but Clem is a really good matchup for Solar. Clem's style plays exactly into Solars hands as he's really good at this brawling style but falls off in more sophisticated lategames like Maru does

I don't think you can. You can't adjust Blinding Cloud to block spells because that would mean blocking all spells including EMP and Feedback which are designed to counter spellcasters and I don't think you can change Snipe to a ranged attack because of the way the game code works.

It makes sense from a game mechanic perspective just the logic of the spell it seems like snipe would be the exact type of thing a blinding cloud would block. There's all sorts of game mechanics that don't make much sense from the in universe logic but that seems particularly odd. It also could allow for fun counterplay too as long as you gave Terran something to compensate. Though making the viper even better is probably not a good idea.

Eh you can justify it by Ghosts using their Psionic ability when they use Snipe which allows them to see through Blinding Cloud, whereas Blinding Cloud only blocks their eye sight.
For Widow Mines you can make up something about the way their targeting systems work not being affected because again they don't use sight they use something else to acquire their targets.

Exactly, clems strength is his speed and multitasking but that's true for solar as well

Yeah, Clem would have done so much better against Solar if he mix in the early heavy pressure build like 3 Racks or several Cyclone. Solar is not a great build reader and could react to the wrong build. Basically Clem needs to play to Solar weakness rather than to Clem strength.

If lost count of the amount of times Maru has just killed him with a pretty straight-up bio push with some tank support.
Where Clem seems to more poke and harass a bit and try to wear Solar down, which gets Solar into a phase of the game where he’s really strong

Clem got REALLY lucky that it happened. Solar had all of the momentum leading into that game and then the huge break just reset it.
