Stats was very good at it, but it's so easy to get into a snowballing-situation when you start losing buildings and not splitting your dudes properly. Such a painful way to lose, heh

That push was designed to counter an actual commitment to stargate units, but herO even delayed the phoenix to make that twilight (well, the twilight didn't do much, it's mostly just the fact that he was making gateway units lol)

Can he finally get G5L with the state of GSL completely unknown after this year. I want to be wrong but I think the curse will kick in and Ragnarok will deny him.

tigera6 3219 Posts October 06 2022 12:25 GMT #54 Maru already paid his due for winning 4 consecutive GSL, by losing the next 3 finals to each race. Now he could start winning GSL again, and it kind of signify the end of an era (the Tastosis era)

Yeah even MVP couldn't do it Doesn't Maru already kinda have it? He's got a Super Tournament win, which (should) count just as much as Mvp's GSL vs the World win. More importantly, Maru won WCS Korea Season 2 in 2013. That was considered an OSL, but WCS Korea Seasons 1 and 3 were considered GSLs. But that OSL had the same status as any GSL. EDIT: anyways, Maru's already lost to Gumiho the title for "most enjoyable run of the season."
