Gabe beating Serral was impressive but it was also his first time beating him in like 3 years. He has around a 10% winrate against him since 2018. Sometimes a 10% winrate will convert to a series win.

Serral also cannot (the last KOB series), Reynor too. At least Reynor's Katowice 2021 did better in late game situation against Maru even with the advantage pings.

( Serral and rogue) Now you not making any damn sense, you said your "boys" beat top Zerg in fast pace TvZ game, and then said inferior player doesnt beat two goats? But Maru beat them both within last year??? Mind breaking

At least when Dark beats you it's a 20 minute bo5, you don't have to spend 2 hours losing.

Well played by Reynor too but I think Reynor get's too used to his mechanics carrying him against inferior opponents. When he goes up against someone with the same speed and precision as him he kind of looks a bit lost against anything that isn't totally standard play.

Seeing him pulling off this insanely tough turtling style over and over again is really amazing. Maru is amazing but I don't think that's a fair comparison at all unless you compare Maru's lategame in a vacuum to Flash's overall play. Either way it's hard to compare a BW player to a SC2 player but that's just my 2 cents.
