Creator is legit. He was running circles around Trap in those big engagements.

Shame he doesn't stand much of any chance against Rogue. 4-0 or 4-1 is inevitable

Fuckit, I'll tune into the finals just for Creator. I know it's very, VERY unlikely, but imagine if he took home his first individual championship in TEN YEARS. That's a hell of a story.

On the other hand - would it really be a greater miracle that Creator beats Rogue in the finals than that he reached the final at all?
He has done the unthinkable already so I think it's not impossible he goes all the way

Whatever chances Creator has are very very minimal imo

Dont get me wrong, Rogue is still the heavy favorite, but I think Creator got some real shot at an huge upset. I just feel that Creator game align more with sOs and Zest with those crazy build and timing, which could work better against Rogue.

He strikes me as more of a Trap in his prime to be honest, he looks very all around solid with great control and not too cheesy, not too predictable, not too one-phase-of-the-game-focused, basically the best kind of Protoss player, and probably the best kinda player in general.

Really enjoy Rogue as a player but I would love to see Creator win to break the curse, reward his long time commitment to the game, and most importantly I want to see all the balance discussions if Creator wins

Creator you beautiful bastard. It feels like he straight up better-playered Trap. Not what I was expecting.

Maybe he'll get 4-0'd but getting revenge on Rogue from the ro6 would be a great way to cap this run off

In regards to this semis, what would a bo7 have really offered us. Creator was on a win streak and one more win by him would just be a blowout. For the ZvZ, even if it went 2-3 more games, as a viewer would it have been any more interesting. I agree that in non-mirror semis a bo7 offers a lot, but I don’t think bo7 would have improved this semis at all.

Let’s be fair Creator played really well, I was impressed myself.

It’s a few good series vs Trap’s pulling off of numerous, numerous clinics over a 3 year period, let’s not go overboard :p

It’s not like Creator is playing Protoss at a level we haven’t seen before or anything.

I dearly hope he can pull off a win against Rogue, but it’s a long series and PvZ. Even in a meaningless practice Bo7 with no pressure whatsoever behind closed doors I’d favour Rogue, and this is the biggest stage, with one of the most mentally clutch players in the history of this game against one of the flakiest.

I’ve been wrong before this season, as my Liquibets will attest to, I certainly hope I am.
