There was no game where Trap went for Robo units (Immortal-Disrutor/Colossus), it was mostly Adept - Stalker - Archon and Stargate. It looks to me that he doesnt want to use Robo unit for their lack of mobility and micro-ability. But most PvT success in mid-game rely on the Robo unit as a backbone for other Gateway units. Somehow Trap completely ignore that part of the game is a bit weird to see.

I'm not a massive fan of either Cure or Zest but seeing Trap get so tilted after game 3 and lose so much to widow mines which he never normally does, was oh so sweet.

So impressed with Cure's play this season. Trap was really off midway in the series and beyond. I'm just glad no mirror finals.

TvT was Maru vs TY last year, ZvZ was RorO vs Symbol in 2013 and MC vs Seed in 2012 is still the only PvP final in Code S history.

Whatever, at least theres some mild small chance Protoss can break its infinity year long drought of GSL success.

kind of a weird series, but it seemed mostly mindset-based imo: trap made a few small-ish mistakes in micro/engages and it clearly tilted him pretty heavily. watch his face throughout the series and you can see him reacting in real time to his own mistakes.
Cure played very well--and most importantly, he played with an early-midgame style deliberately designed to capitalize on small mistakes by the opponent and turn them into wins. he didn't seem god-like or untouchable though. Zest is a very strong mindset player and definitely has a shot at this.

What? Rogue losing in SF (and Dark falling to Rogue in QF) was the best open ticket for Trap to finally secure GSL. And Cure, with no disrespect, isn't exactly a Maru or TY level stumbling block. This is some cruel twist to the Kong curse...
Anyway, unexpected but exciting finals ahead. Hope Zest clinches the win, for nostalgia sake.
