Caster bias may indeed be 2/10 leaning towards Reynor, but TL posters are convinced it’s 9/10. Casters have always had massive favourites. Do you think Fruitdealer and IntoTheRainbow went into that first GSL final with equal levels of hype? Do you know the story of Clide, the greatest player to never win anything? And let's not even get started on Flash and Jaedong, which was the most biased any caster has ever been in the history of StarCraft 2. Oh, but they're RTS legends, say people who would never dream of giving that kind of treatment to Moon and Grubby. Caster bias only ever became a problem when it started happening to non-Koreans. moon or grubby weren't sc players and they were never that good in sc2. bad example. and you probably don't remember stephano/idra/thorzain/scarlett era. they were biased, oh, they were. and it is normal. like it was normal to cast like that in a game where one player does everything like he should to and in the end doesn't win. Stephano was as overhyped as Serral maybe even more I'd say but he was winning less so ppl didn't care as much. (even if you can find some pretty heated threads on TL)
lol what are you talking about man?

I must admit no, but they said quite frequently he was the best player in the world while it was quite prematured. And during the game, they would really focus on him, I was ok with it as I was a big fanboy but I can understand the ones who were annoyed.

Clever use of Stasis Traps.
EDIT: Didn't work out well enough, but I still really liked it.

Come on at no point ever did people think Stephano was the best player in the world, not even the die-hard fanbois, best foreigner at some point, yes, but that's it.
