Dark needed his own Vipers. He managed to push Reynor's superior army back several times but it was just too much attrition to take.

Reynor did really his best to throw this...
Pushing with just hydra against mass mutas while being on a good position was stupid, waiting for vipers was so much better.

At least this increases Marus chances in this tournament imo
