RuFF_SC2 United States203 Posts February 10 2021 07:34 GMT #1 "Destroyer of Worlds" is a KOTH format tournament. I was inspired 10 years ago by Thundertoss KOTH during StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty. Instead of this format being a hit or miss for players prize pool. There is always a guaranteed prize pool for players in this event each week. The event will be played on unique maps that are not in the current ladder pool to showcase some new strategies and ideas to spice things up a bit. Prize Pool: $50 each week Thursdays @ 9:00 PM EDT - 1:00 AM EDT Prize distribution: If there's a king (Destroyer) and he's undefeated till the end of the event the king wins $50. If there's a king (Destroyer) and he's defeated, king wins $40 and his opponent wins $10; event ends. If the event ends at 1:00 AM EDT and there's no king the prize is split among the players with the most wins. (Example: Player A has 3 wins, and Player B has 3 wins; they both get $25) Player is named king after 4 successful victories in a row. Last player of the night taking out the runner up gets a wild card option (Title: Invader) for next week. They can jump in to take on any opponent they want, this includes players taking out a King at the end of the event who win $10. Qualifications: No Barcode; So please log onto tournament accounts. Opponents will try to be matched within a 300 MMR Range (Higher or Lower) Masters 1 / Grandmaster Players Players are chosen at random depending on race, audience, and availability between matches as a first come first serve style. (Unless you are the Wild Card: Invader) Feel free to ladder between matches.
