Because he had a good eco for so long and Trap went for a gas heavy army and moved out too soon, he didn't have enough archons or he didn't realize he's against mass banes, all in all he didn't had the force fields needed and gas to support them archons.

Yeah that, and everything going on today so far nicely sums up all the issues in PvZ. Slight miscontrol by protoss and the game just ends. And we are talking about 6 zealots here lol. Meanwhile Zerg can gift 50 banes almost for free cause he is already making 60 new ones behind it. Zerg loses 2 or 3 big fights, does not matter just remaxes. Toss loses 6 units and is dead :D And its not like Trap is playing passive he did decent damage with his oracle play every game. His army control, positioning and micro is stellar as well. I just dont see how you can beat a top Zerg (as toss) without some adept BS or the Zerg completely screwing up the game

Meanwhile, Reynor threw away two complete armies including infinity banes but he's ok.
Lings, Banes, Roaches and Ravagers while being on 80 Drones against Archons, Immortals and Colossi that aren't easy to reproduce. Also Trap lost a ton of probes and just couldn't keep up with Zerg production anymore.

Love it or hate it, that's how Zerg wins. Expand and drone up faster than you're losing bases, counter-attack faster than the the enemy can push.

The Zerg shillery in this community is out of control and delusional. I can't wait until Protoss literally plays a perfect game and still loses. I want to hear what they have to say.
