Oh just 8 rax and try to kill the Zerg with a million marines. Is way better when you don't randomly lose all your tanks actually.
True, but the textbook 8 rax i have seen thus far were 2-2 with 3 tanks, not 1-1 with 1 and another in rally.
Well he would have had 3 tanks if he didn't lose 2 to lings. I guess he wanted to hit earlier so he didn't commit to the upgrades. I don't know that he had 8 rax actually since he only made like 11 marines max at a time.

Yes, the Z matchups have to be the most volatile. When a player looks away a whole army can be lost to banelings. It is the same with for example baneling drops from OLs or banes erasing expansions. Liberators/oracles/medivacs/mines never cause such instant annihilation of armies or bases.
Crazy idea - but what if Blizz gives Terran a lategame upgrade for ghosts that allows them to use stim? Take away 20 hp (or 25 energy?) from a ghost for the 50% boost
To prevent early ghost rushes, you can make it an upgrade at the ghost academy, that can only be researched after a fusion core is made?
Is it insane? Probably. Do I still want to see how it impacts the metagame? Hell yea

Can terrans stop using this as a whining point? This is the same for every race. If zerg looks away a whole army can be lost to one mine. Disruptors can annihilate most armies also.

that's any strategy that hinges on a few expensive units--you lose them you lose. whether it's a tank push for Terran or an Immortal-based timing for Protoss. The same applies for Zerg, except they only get Ultraliaks after the 10 minute mark
Poor Korean Terrans man. They can't even proxy rax anymore because Zergs are hyper aware enough to drone scout for it. That's gotta be a severe drop in win rates.

I would prefer if we just try out a Snipe that isn't cancelled just because the ghost takes damage.

Unlike other races, zerg can remax instantly. Not to mention mines has an rng element to it

And result of that is that Zergs in this tournament don't even bother scouting for proxy rax and Terrans don't do it anyway.

That removes counterplay though. Just nerf zerg stuff instead.
It's really down to the Queens - they can defend so well, or at least delay a push. Ling run-bys are easy to execute when you have other units (i.e. Queens) to hold the fort.
In BW, hydras and mutas are rather OP-ish in bulk. But if Zerg push out, they're vulnerable at home. The only defence is sunken - which costs a lot of money. Terran can deflect a hydra/muta death ball by threatening a doom drop. So it's quite balanced.
Zergs in SC2 just have too much flexibility and fail-safes, IMO.

Abduct applies interrupt (if it does not already?), here's your counterplay.

I am not a terran but a zerg. Terrans seem to complain much more about disruptors but I think the TvP matchup seems to be in a pretty good spot. And no, saying it is the same for all races is a false equivalence and a reductionist way of talking about racial differences in this game. Mines do not erase whole armies by far as often or to the extent that whole armies and expansions are regularly deleted by banes.
Holy shit TY is playing incredibly well. Those non stop skirmishes all over the map... Insane multi tasking. Is it going to be enough though? They still look quite evenly matched
Nvm it seems impossible to get past 4 bases as Terran on this map lol
