The important thing is that most of LotV saw almost no muta play at the top level for one reason or another. Mutas weren't ever buffed, but Terran counters were nerfed. Maps also make an impact on whether Zergs go pure ling bane or hydras or LBM. Honestly if Neeb would take some better fights he could actually win some games. | ||

Mutas were not buffed, but its counters were, specially Thor aa increase priority and damage an +1 armor. Also larva production was nerfed at the begging of lotv so may have affected it. | ||
