I agree that it might have been the right call to kill it sooner. But people never seem to discuss broodlings talking about this kind of stuff. You are not only sacrificing a volley. Broodlings have high dps and mess up your movement. In a fight as scrappy as that one they can really make the difference.

Serral did a really good job splitting up his locust waves so there was always some danger. Also if you finally fought off the locust wave you really want to go for the throat because you are on a timer agianst free units. But yeah, there was a point were killing the hatch was the right call.
