Nuff said, old stars can’t keep up forever ^^.

He is so overrated it’s not funny anymore, especially since he is a match fixer

He isnt training as pro and its a ladder match so? Competition now days is a joke. Is the same when sc was dying and Flash and JD dominated

LOL. sc wasn't dying. Blizzard killed our scene to consolidate power and release a new game where they had control.

You have no factual basis for your claim. Sponsorship were still over 200k for these guys at the time.

Just because the first phase of stars are phased out by more talented gamers, does not mean the game has died.

LOL

After Savior (the best SC zerg player ever) incident SC was dying badly. Foreing scene was non existent (our clan tot dismantled, mondi, testie, draco, etc all retired). In korea lvl was also very weak, flash at first was low cheeser and gained the throne with weak competition such as a mediocre bisu and jd.

I can't see Serral not winning this tournament. No one remaining should give him much trouble besides Stats maybe. Group A got rid of both Inno and Soo.

Would they though? Both don't play exceptionally well

They weren't before winning Katowice and IEM, and they didn't after those victories. Yet they won.

Did Neeb just say that he made this build on the fly and then 2-0'd Ptitdrogo with it? That's kinda crazy.

Not really, he said he doesn't know how to hold it himself and he adjusted it slightly based on what Zest did against him

Do they even exist? I only rember good players such as garimto, boxer, yellow, nada, savior, etc. I played SC since 98 till 2007 then competition was very low and borring.
I remember in good times there were especial servers (wgtour and others).

Mechanically - Savior was an inaccurate joke and already a sagging failure as Jaedong took over.
Effort overtook him as the best zerg on his own team long before that, Idra talked about Effort being the best on the team long before Savior was found out to be using his position to destroy people.

Savior was good before Protoss knew how to fast expand and when Terrans still played 1 base style or 2 base all-ins.

You have no metric for anything your say. Mondi, Testie, Draco all have retired and unretired so many times it is pointless to point to one time.

We never had a scene other then WCG and tl.net - if by scene you mean tournaments with money.

Iccup exploded with top koreans after the match fixing scandle (unrelated). Ret, who was better then everyone you mentioned, was playing as were many others.

Sounds more like, you were young once and had a decent life and things were good - you got older and your life is hard, so you shit on things.

Nobody from this games past could last a tournament with these guys.
Savior couldn't qualify for a BW league even if he wasn't banned for life.

Your wrong to the point of revisionism.

Same type of person says "Bobby Fischer would be god if he played today", Nope. He would get dunked on by the entire top ten... or Bruce Lee would be a champion figher ..... Nope, just a small guy with great theatrical and athletic ability who would lose to a similarly sized female ufc fighter.

Savior was good for a few years and then was garbage for the last few years. Forget Adrenal much?

(been playing since 99 - on every server, including the polish and chinese ones, I was here for the wdtour scam and wgtour and gamei and everything else, r.i.p fish)

Lol.
The game was so borrig at that time. I remember even szisky was considered best foreing at that time. So low level, there not even international tournaments with koreans.

Life would surely be fighting for a GSL title, have you actually looked at Maru's or Serral's mechanics? Where do you see the decay?
This tale about foreigners winning because koreans became weak is so delusional.

But you keep telling us how weak code S has become

The korean scene has lost depth, I keep telling you that Code A is weaker and that taking Code S titles consecutively is easier(winner privileges play a role in that); winning Code S is still pretty hard and the top korean players are still very strong.

Right on Commander.
