TvZ so he wins the group instead of Dark I don't know, Kev  TY can beat any Protoss, just has to be on his game. But when he's on his game I still don't see him beating Dark outside of BO3. Until RO8, Protoss might get nerfed too, that's something to take in consideration. Terran buffed as well. I think we can cut the might as well, group B is at the end of August, I don't see Blizzard waiting this long. Considering the discussed changes nothing IMO affects Trap's PvT that much. Charge nerf and prism nerf will affect every Protoss very hard if they go through as proposed recently. The positive aspect for Trap is that if the changes come out as I predict, it's unlikely there's gonna be any groundbreaking meta progress (a build that makes perfect use of the stim change) until his group is played Also they have to worry about beating Cure and herO before they worry about each other What I mean is that Trap's PvT wasn't based around heavy WP usage and chargelots everywhere nor the timings with those. herO? Classic? Zest? PATIENCE? Sure, these will get hit harder than Trap. In PvT, PvZ is a different story.
A very important part of Trap's PvT is his excellent warp prism harass. Now that's not nearly the only thing that's been making Trap's PvT work, but the ability to deal with a warp prism in your main more easily will surely be a god send for Terrans. And the impact of the core army unit becoming strictly worse remains to be seen.
Those changes combined might actually also make mech in TvP decisively better because the #1 cause of death for people trying to mech has been getting busted by mass gateway units (mostly zealots and stalkers) before having a reasonable sized army.

I was thinking like 2-1-1 even without Medivacs at the start. 4 Marauder, 4 Hellions and go. Could then be reinforced by Medivacs who bring the new units to the front so no zergling counter possbile

Have been watching his streams lately and he has so far not mastered sky terran vs mass investor/corrupter late game. He is trying with liberator/battlecruiser combo like maru has but he is not macroing at anywhere near the same speed as maru, and his liberator/battelcruiser micro is also not up to par. I think he is going to struggle against dark going by his recent streaming performance.
But the group stage matches are still a month away, so any Ro8 battles are about a month and a half away. A lot can change in that time.
