The widow mines just buy you time while you tech to Battlecruisers. Without the tech to Battlecruisers this style doesn't work, nothing else has the meat or power to make the massive supply cost of the Widow Mines worth it. They cost 2 supply each, that adds up quick. | ||

Supernova always turret spams with it too. I usually see him use it vs Tempest fleets but I see no reason why it wouldn't work just as well vs Carriers. BCs are the only thing that can break you OUT of that kind of defensive late game posture as far as I know. If you're making anything else you're just gonna defend until you die. I suppose you COULD make a case for Ghost/Liberator/Viking but that gets wrecked so fast by storm if you aren't careful. | ||

Because why would you risk a BO disadvantage (or loss) if you can just play standard and beat someone straight up? And why would you reveal an aggressive build vs a player who isn't a favorite? I'd save it for tougher matches. | ||
