Raze surprised me in game 1, puCK got destroyed. Nice hallu play.
.. and he moves on losing 1-2. He could have won the last game.
|
the question is, can we make it to the half of the page here?
btw, why is TLO playing the NA challanger?

He maried a canadian and is living there now afaik

Love seeing TLO get a win. Incontrol and Nathan with the German accents had me chuckling too.
|
nice, thanks to TLO we now got 4 more posts on the NA Challenger thread :D
|
Disk with a win game one. As Incontrol said, it looked like Raze wasn't ready or didn't have time to position his army right for that attack on his third.
|
DisK is playing scared enough that I think that TLO has enough to defend to force DisK to send more units.

DisK is going to have nightmares about his decision making that game.

I feel EU/NA thread should be merged seeing as they're casted by the same people. TLO you're legend great win I thought you were dead. TLO! TLO! TLO! TLO!

Epic does not handle harass well at all. He's shown that in all 3 series today.

Paparasi moment: His wife is an esport person I think and he's also a step dad!

That was the most NA game I have ever seen.

Insane how big the gap is between EU and NA challenger. I'd be surprised if Neeb loses more than one map to one of these players

This winners match is terrible.

Why did they split into separate NA and EU tournies anyway?

lol that was the most tilt gg ever

NA's best players are definitely on par with EU's but the average quality of the scene is notably inferior.

They are the only actual proplayers, maybe with Masa I don't know. Everyone one else in NA is part time.

Isn't it pretty obvious that Neeb is gonna win and JonSnow becomes second? I have only heard of Vindicta but idk what to expect from him. Hopefully he surprises (in a positive way ofc).

Wait was that WCS 4 Terran group Neeb's last Terran professional match too? That's hilarious
EDIT:whoops it was 3 Terran and Minigun that I was thinking of

IdrA saving NA SC2 once again

LOL NA.... nice build Idraling.
|

Should Neeb have been on the top 10 in the Power Ranking?

Neeb is incapable of adjusting builds based on who he is playing.

That was actually kinda funny

That was full NA in all its splendor.

Idraling even said before the game in Twitch chat that he's gonna nydus twice lol

To be fair Dear is in the Top 10 and he lost to Sakura.

Neeb has to be praying that Idraling wins, so he can avoid the future bonjwa.

Idraling is a worthless ID

This is the kind of wall Neeb builds against the guy that killed him with Zerglings twice in a row?

I think if Scarlett keep trying GSL there is a chance we might have Masa at Blizzcon, wouldn't that be a treat.
|
So far the players who have lost more series against Neeb have been winning. I imagine that's generally a good heuristic for NA events.

Mutas into loss even when his opponent is teching into hydras and hive at the same time.

If he stop John snow building 100 supply on 20 drones while max out

Looks like both of them are doing the Boxer thing of wearing the opponent down for the rest of the series.

Can we just disqualify both players? Good lord.
Clearly this was just the Firecake tactic of wearing out the viewers.

Expecting Astrea 3-0 TLO now, let's see.
edit: TLO winning with mass mutas... but pretty poor play by Astrea there.

What a build from Astrea.

How are the views NA vs EU? I didn't pay close attention to views yesterday, but they seem comparable (I remember 15k-20k at some point for EU)

Europe was quite a bit better. English viewership was a bit higher I think, and there were a lot more viewers for the non-English streams.

Why does WCS not show income per minute like GSL does?

Now we get to see if TLO is NA enough to Nydus/proxy-hatch Neeb out of here.

Just saw results. You gotta feel bad that Puck faced Neeb because he won his group. Puck is a great player. That being said, I feel like this qualification is the momentum TOO needs to excel here.

Neeb continues to deny TLO sweet tournament winnings. That's 13-0 in matches, and neeb has won the last 17 games against TLO in a row

wtf are feardragon and zombie grub smoking
if it wasnt a huge skill gap like the one between neeb and jon snow, the protoss player would be at a huge disadvantage after he lost the 3rd base and a bunch of sentries

Some of the EU pros play chess with Artosis and Tasteless, so I'm going to assume that there too EU > NA.

wp neeb!

neeb too good, mowed through this bracket.

I quite like Feardragon and ZG casting together personally, they have casting chemistry and good game knowledge.
With that out of the way, wp to Neeb, but also JonSnow and Puck, good performance from them both.
