Announcing The NA Apprentice Season 3! This is a GSL-style tournament for up and coming NA players.

What's new?
The total player count is being increased from 24 to 32. Now all the players (both invited and qualified) will begin the tournament from Group Stage 1.

The NA Apprentice is partnering with Matcherino for this event! Anyone can contribute $0.50 to the prize pool for free with the coupon code ~~ApprenticeNA3~~ ApprenticeNA3Playoffs.

Eligibility:
Only NA residents who have not reached the following stages may participate:
* Group Stage 3 in any 2018 WCS event
* Group Stage 2 in 2019 WCS Winter Americas

Player schedule:
* Group Stage 1: April 1-6
* Group Stage 2: April 8-13
* Ro8: April 22-27
* Ro4: April 29-May 4
* Finals: TBD

Format:
* Group Stage 1: 8 Bo3 round robin groups of 8 players each. Top 2 of each group advance.
* Group Stage 2: 4 Bo3 round robin groups of 4 players each. Top 2 of each group advance.
* Playoffs: Single elimination bracket. Ro8 and Ro4 are Bo5. Finals is Bo7.

The NA Apprentice is now partnered with OSC! This means that players can earn OSC points just for participating in the NA Apprentice. By earning enough OSC points, players can qualify for the OSC Championship at the end of the year!

The OSC point distribution is as follows:

1st: 240
2nd: 125
3rd-4th: 60
5th-8th: 20
9th-12th: 12.5
13th-16th: 7.5
17th-24th: 5
+ participation points for everyone, including qualifiers

This is cool a new season is coming, and so soon. I may be bias, but I wish latam players could play in this as well. Most would be elegible to play in this, and with the number of players increasing they could make a cool splash in the tournament.

I'd like to keep the tournament NA focused for the moment, but perhaps in the future there'll be an opportunity to bring in the Latin American community as well

The Group Stage 2 groups are out! Who are you surprised to see in here and who do you think will make it to the playoffs?

Also, Wilo made it out! Looks like Rowrin's support worked!
