Wtf is with these schedules Oh FFS are you serious, an hour ago I found out I stayed up for no reason because finals were scheduled 4h after the 3rd/4th place match. Trying to find the bright side in this mistake, I was excited to be able to watch mini/last. Now the finals are being pushed forward? My heart, lol. | ||

Maru slowly nuked scarlett all the way back into her natural for like 30 minutes and then GG'd out of an unloseable draw after scarlett successfully beat his army in g1. In g2, Scarlett just did a quick nydus that killed Maru. | ||

What makes Scarlett's throws so bad is that you know that they're going to happen. There have been a few occasions when I don't even bother waking up for her matches because I already know how they're going to end: 1. Scarlett goes up to match point in the series. 2. Scarlett gets a seeming insurmountable lead and looks ready to take the series. 3. Scarlett throws her lead in spectacular fashion. 4. Scarlett falls apart in game 5 and loses. It happened just now vs Maru, it happened vs Serral twice last year, it happened vs herO in GSL (a Bo3, but same concept), it happened vs Dark in GSL vs the World. Sometimes I wish she'd switch it up and try going down in the series before fighting back and losing and crushing my soul that way. | ||

I have no idea, the schedule said finals in a couple hours but the casters just said they'd be right back and right now the stream says Serral vs Inno coming up | ||

Game started at 18 minutes due to technical difficulties on the clean feed. Maru gets up to seven bases and spends the next half hour nuking Scarlett into her corner of the map--she doesn't do any harassment or anything except sitting back and trying to defend. Eventually when she's down to only her main Maru has spent all the gas on the map except for 3000 on nukes and takes a really bad fight and eats a fungal on most of his stuff. Both armies trade each other down until Scarlett has no corruptors, so Maru is guaranteed a draw. Maru pauses talks to the ref for a while, and then the game continues for no apparent reason. The game continues on seemingly pointlessly for a while with Scarlett started cleaning up most of Maru's turrets and stuff with Maru not floating his buildings off into a corner. And then Maru leaves the games for unknowable reasons possibly involving bizarre WESG rules with regards to determining the winner by in-game points if a tie happens. | ||
