Zest knows about the rematch curse, and doesn't want to face Rogue so he loses first match Smart Zest, clever Zest

Can't lose the winner's match if you don't get to the winner's match

Oh cool Marineking is playing.

1/1 is finishing at the same time as the evos

Bomber already influencing the metagame
|
pure bio play is always cool

Maru or Inno would have won there.

That 3/3 push is gonna be brutal

What is alive doing.........Can''t he split marines?

If aLive could split half as well as Maru he would've already won twice over

Great game, but anytime you go Bio it's a death clock on you. There's just no way to trade cost effectively past a certain point even with better upgrades.
|
|
Why on earth would aLive of all people would choose to use this of all comps? His splits have sucked for years, and splits are everything with pure bio.

Of course you can, but its a death clock. If zerg is ever able to stabilize to the fact where they can get enough banelings, it doesn't matter how good your splits are. And Rogue was able to counter attack effectively enough to get to that point.

Doesn't change what I said. You ever see a pure bio army win after 20 minutes in a game? Not by anyone.

Sure, but because Alive didn't kill him, Rogue was able to get to a point where he had an equal army. And once you get enough banelings, it doesn't matter how good your splits are. I'm not disagreeing with you, but you're not hearing what you're saying. Sure he fucked up, but also because he fucked up, his army makes it impossible to consistently trade effectively at a certain point.

After some digging, I found this clip of Tasteless commenting on aLive's splits last year.

I'm no expert but isn't bio the most cost effective trade in the whole game? Marines are basically for free and can kill pretty much everything cause of the high dps

Point is, if he hadnt given away the army for free, he could easily continue deathpushing Rogue with pure bio vs LBM anyway. There isnt a magical critical number of banelings that can kill any given number of marines. Especially off creep...

time for protoss solar to join his brother, zerg patience, to once again frustrate the infinitely important liquibets of honest LR folk by either unexpectedly winning, or, when baited enough people into betting on them to actually do so, either forward blink straight into the void or do the wildly adapted late tournament zerg choke

It shows when disabling adblocker. Not sure if there is a another workaround yet!

Results works for me.
Edit: It looks like it's related to adblocking. It stopped working when I turned on my adblocker. I had it off on TL.net as a tiny gesture of support, since they are fairly unobtrusive..
