If Terran has the proper Ghost control, Ultras are basically useless which is why Korean Zergs don't make them very much anymore

Well Inno's Ghost control is nothing to scoff at either, even though he said he doesn't like Ravens too much

Said it before, but the biggest difference between Korean and foreign Terrans is that the former know how to play lategame while the latter are mostly clueless

Aside from just not sucking in general, of course

@pvsnp Honestly I completely disagree with that assessment. Foreign Terrans are equally as good in late game as Korean Terrans, IMO. The big difference comes down to micro/multitasking There's no one at all in the foreign scene who can come close to Maru, Innovation, TY, etc. In every other aspect foreign Terrans are equal or better, but the just don't have the APM of the Koreans or the kiting of Maru and it kills them.

"They just don't have the APM of the Koreans or the kiting of Maru and it kills them."

That's exactly what I said. What other aspect is there? Lategame Terran armies are notoriously difficult to control properly due to the extreme mechanical demand of managing Bio+multiple siege units+multiple spellcasters coherently. Foreign Terrans lack the raw mechanics to do this, hence they are inferior to their Korean counterparts. It's not like the concept is hard to grasp or something, random forumgoers can understand it easily enough.

By saying foreign Terrans are good but lack the mechanics, you're basically saying "they aren't worse, they're just worse."

This series is an example of what I'm talking about:

And it is not just late game control that separates them. Maru's success in late game TvZ is largely a product of his ability to take and hold bases well beyond what Terran are traditionally supposed to be able to do. When was the last time you saw a non-Korean TvZ with the Terran player on 6 or 7 bases and not getting ripped apart by runbys?

Pretty good game, Heromarine did well. Tbh he is Germany's best hope against Serral, it's his weakest matchup.

you said they dont know how to play the lategame which is pretty different from "cant click fast enough"

but fortunately enough that post also says that they are worse at everything too, so youve covered yourself in that analysis!
impenetrable argument tbh. "they are worse at everything and especially worse at this one thing"
