Korean SC2 hasn't been the same without ESF and KeSPA... Plus no new blood in the scene either. Can't think of any upcoming Korean players.

Looking at Aligulac there's this guy name Lero who seems be able to take games off decent foreigners in online tournaments but other than that, ya.

There's still Nightmare, Rookie, Eagle, and DRGLing. Unless they've retired since I last checked

DRGLing GSL champion 2020.

Calling it.

Being perfectly honest, I expect 2019 to be the last year of Korean SC2.

Too many players are too close to enlistment age. Even if the money is still there, there won't be any players to play.

we still need to know if its going to be WCS in 2019

at least some of the old pros that finished military service may come back, better than nothing i guess. Of course new talent would be much better

Also Prince and HHs

How come I've never seen any of their games, aside from DRGLing? They didn't make it past Code B either?

Best by default. After everyone on the other side of the gap is dead and gone, can you still call it a gap?

I think they tried qualifiers. I remember Prince losing last year twice to Elazer...

Of all those players I listed + Prince and HHs I've seen them from code A qualifiers and from streams like State's. I believe Eagle, Nightmare, and Rookie were all Samsung rookies

NightMare was the guy that made DT blink work one time against Gumiho in GSL 2017 S1.

That's the only player from the "up and comers" that I can remember seeing a game from.
