really only soO stands out to me for korean ZvZ, Dark is usually good vs foreigners but always loses to soO, i would say Rogue but then he lost badly to Scarlett... other than that maybe Solar? but he is also very inconsistent

Korean Z can be sum up to Dark and soO for more than a year imo. Rogue had an exceptional streak at the best time possible but looks to be back to his normal ro8 at best level.

Korean SC2 hasn't been the same without ESF and KeSPA... Plus no new blood in the scene either. Can't think of any upcoming Korean players.

Because there aren't any. The current generation is the last generation.

Last upcoming player to reach relevancy was Solar. That sums up the korean scene pretty well.

Looking at Aligulac there's this guy name Lero who seems be able to take games off decent foreigners in online tournaments but other than that, ya.

There's still Nightmare, Rookie, Eagle, and DRGLing. Unless they've retired since I last checked

Not sure about their status, but regardless of that those guys are from the KeSPA teamhouses, aren't they? So they're not actually new players, they're just the youngest of the old players.

Being perfectly honest, I expect 2019 to be the last year of Korean SC2.

Too many players are too close to enlistment age. Even if the money is still there, there won't be any players to play.

Ya I was looking for players who have never touched a team house to my knowledge. Most of those guys besides Rookie haven't be active lately
