It can since after you wipe out the other half you can make the units you control kill each other, but you really have to get the perfect engagement in the absence of significant other unit support.

I found that third of the game uninteresting, and the way the game ended was just terrible. The constant positional play back and forth sniping units here and there war of attrition and composition choice was awesome to watch and extremely tense I was at the edge of my seat and if you didn't enjoy that then I dunno why you bother watching you are never going to like SC2. maybe we just don't enjoy the same things. I know I didn't enjoy that, and I'm happy for you if you did.

Really weird decision by Rogue to take the last engagement. I think he could have at least gotten a draw if he stays back. There was one base in the top left where some gas was left that Neeb forgot about but otherwise he was broke.
I think neither player can break the other if they both stay back.

Why didn't Rogue use more vipers and parasitic bomb?

Ya upon rewatching. Rogue finally cracked and took just an awful, awful engagement. There is no good fight vs skytoss but that was worse than it had to be well, it's hard for me to blame him, he showed way more patience than I will be able to in that position

Good news everyone, 6 hours in we have confirmed that they're playing losers matches instead of winners.

Positional play just isn't as flashy as tactical play, but it is quite nuanced.

I like sc2 and most games don't go into boring sky zerg vs skytoss. Always found that boring when games get there. Lately I noticed it happens a lot more but during the eras this doesn't happen the game is way more entertaining.

I actually really liked that game, there was a lot of strategic things that happened earlier on which were really nice. It's just it lasted 15 minutes longer than it needed to, and those last 15 minutes were clearly the worst part of that game.
Other than that tho, all the blink stalker / stasis stuff plus all of Rogue's really technical harrass was great, and even the deathball stuff was good until Rogue lost all his economy and then had to sit and protect that base for the rest of the game.

Not if half the rest of your army crumbles first.
I just don't understand what mass neural is supposed to do. I understand using it on the momaship, but making infestors to spam it on everything is just wasted supply

They should show a few more replays of the last fight and analyze with slow motion what happened instead of this break

he has to keep focus firing with corruptors, keep casting spells with all infestors and vipers.
I think it would be more fair if corruptors prioritized carriers and void rays over interceptors.
Interceptors should have lower threat priority versus slow hard hitting units like corruptors and vikings, but remain the same priority against marines and hydras if possible ( Dont think it is, but i guess we can always hold position hydras and marines to attack interceptors).

Shocking that they're playing the games written in the schedule rather than something else.

I used to love SC2. But the a lot of the new units are, for me, (the ravager? being the worst of all) just really boring design wise and games like these have never interested me.
