Wow what game was that!
I must apologize to Neeb for not beleiving enough in his skills. When I first witnessed him, I hough that he was a player with very good mechanics, a little shy but with not enough cleverness to beat the best of the best. While Neeb improved his play as time advance, I won't have seen him as a very top player.
But what he have shown in this games just prooved me wrong.
I've haven't seen Neeb games for a least 6 month and he shown such a greater level of play than before. He was very clever in these games, showing such a great level of patience and strategy in the long term. Something I wouldn't have expected from him.
It's like I'm discovering a new player!
Very well done Neeb ! GL for your next games ! You should be in the top 4 of the best players (well now you are in my own top list :-) ).

I also really enjoyed the game. It was tense and full of little tactical moves to gain an advantage. But I also enjoyed BL/inf and SH vs. mech.

It was awesome yeah. With Rogue not losing a PvZ lategame in the last, what, 3 months? it was awesome to see Neeb test him there and beat him at his own game.

So crazy. Every time he was out of position he had a magic key to press.
one abduct or neural on MS = gg Neeb. Theres a reason Rogue ALWAYS wins that type of game, its actually very winnable to any zerg who doesnt just give up (so aka any zerg in Korea)

Rogue's void rays werent targeting Neebs army but killing interceptors...

To be fair I thought the game was really good for the first 30-40 mins but eventually it gets tiring watching clumps of air units posturing and picking off straggling units

Snute vs Ty game 2 was amazing. However, it's absolutely insane how blizzard balance team still hasn't addressed this type of gameplay after that many years. Obviously the fundamental issue here is the strenght of air units against ground units. Make ground units counter tier 3 air units and you get a completely different dynamic. Watching immobile tier 3 air vs immobile zerg army was boring in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015,2016 and 2017.

If rogue cant do it getting the perfect army he can, noone can..
It wasn't the perfect army, though. It was an army that relied on fungals and perfect neurals. But Neeb just never engaged in the way in which that army can win (which was Rogue's mistake, he assumed that at some point he would get a good position for engagement). He didn't have vipers, and so he couldn't trade efficiently long term with the army.
I say this as a zerg. The only reason to use that army is that you assume your opponent won't control their army well. It's pretty cheesy tbh.

WoL Leenock would be proud Remember that game with 75 infestors? Crank vs someone I forget in GSL. Mass carrier vs instant fungal. Freaky? Bomber vs. Freaky was the ultimate ridiculous infestor game to me

I don't recognize the man in the dark pink shirt. Who is that?

Does mass neural ever work? Surely it just means you guarantee half the protoss army not dieing by the end of the fight

Oh I thought Neeb - Rogue was the last game of the day.

A fucking shame he had so many infestors, even on that large of an opening some got stuck behind after the front line used fungals. arguably poor micro.
... either way, i would argue that he lost because a third of his supply had no attack/spellcast only and another third could only hit ground

Not if half the rest of your army crumbles first.

Kind of surprised to see it's overwhelmingly negative here. I'd have enjoyed it quite a lot if it had been like 20 minutes shorter. I found that third of the game uninteresting, and the way the game ended was just terrible.
The constant positional play back and forth sniping units here and there war of attrition and composition choice was awesome to watch and extremely tense I was at the edge of my seat and if you didn't enjoy that then I dunno why you bother watching you are never going to like SC2.

Ok I missed that one. So that's one. Completely defeats my point that Rogue is extremely comfortable there.
