LOTV, great game design since 2015 I think the problem is that in order to do equivalent damage as terran you have to doomdrop, which is allin. If neeb loses the prism they're even, but if it gets into the main then GG unless terran counterattacks He isn't even if he loses the prism. Losing the prism is a huge blow Not that big a blow tbh. They'd still be about even given neeb was up in supply. No excuse for a single dropship killing 30 workers so fast. It would take a 3/4 medivac commitment from Major to do equivalent damage. And if he loses that its gg that's very game specific though. major's proxy didn't really work out too well. if they were even, losing a prism is a big deal and he probably can't afford to warp in that many adepts / has to cut other stuuf to be able to. Mass adept warpins in the main happens a lot though. and are you serious losing 200mineral dropship is a big deal? Neeb had enough money to do a mass warpin in the main and then killed 30 workers with it. Even if he loses the prism he can warpin 12 adepts at his 4th. Major was already behind by failed proxy yh. But being out on the map when a warp prism arrives shouldn't be insta gg. In the opposite scenario (neeb being out of position and a medivac coming in), terran likely could only kill a few workers or pylons. I like how you compare a warpprism and a 12 adept warpin (26 supply) to a single medivac (10 supply). When protoss is out on the map a triple medivac drop is often gg too.
Because a medivac only has 10 supply max? And a prism is 2 supply that can spawn 20 in your base.
Yh thats a TRIPLE medivac drop, big commitment to do. one warp prism is like 200 mineral, not a massive investment for something that can end the game.
Near enough a single warp prism drop is same value as single medivac drop right? Yet if the prism gets in it can then spawn 30 supply of adepts in your base and GG.

It's all about building a fanbase which is in love with teams/players. Even if the game gets worse/boring, a lot of people will still watch. Sc2 was always kinda bad at that (creating a following behind players)

You say that but I'm watching cs because its legit more interesting than the sc2 right now. And there's much less hassle with imbalanced races making it almost all skill dependant.

CSGO, LOL, DOTA ... But on the other hand, I understand HearthStone as it is interesting to think about the mental processes of the top players and compare them with your own ideas. But still, there is only one watching cinematic movie experience and that is SC2.

Sc2 is as fun to watch as it is to play imo, but watching is less effort. That is when broken shit isn't happening

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people that don't play SC2 but love watching it. I haven't played the game in years but I'm still watching

Not really. Cs involves 2 teams with almost the same resources, and then they swap halves each map to ensure nothing broken can happen.
sc2 has had many stages of imbalance across all races
