The only bad thing about it is that Friday night is a popular time to make other plans but I don't see how it's a failure. It's great for me. It's the only one that I can watch live with my sleep schedule. That's exactly what they set out to provide and it provides it. GSL at NA-friendly times has had lower viewer numbers entire season How does that affect whether the time is better for NA viewers or not? I feel like we're talking about two different things here. If you've got 5000 viewers who can watch at time Y and 2000 viewers that can watch at time Z, and you want to vary broadcast times so both groups of viewers get to watch some broadcasts live, the success or failure of that is based on whether both groups get to watch live. The viewer count of each particular broadcast is a product of the size of the groups. It's not an indication of whether or not you're succeeding. GSL knows that there is an optimal time to do their broadcast. They chose to broadcast at varying times so that there's a greater number of people that get to watch a live GSL broadcast. Seeing varying viewer counts is not surprising or indicative of anything except of a fact that they already knew. I think the success or failure of it is determined by the number of unique people that have watched GSL live this season. If it's higher than it would've been without varying the schedule, then they succeeded.
Yeah sorry i didn't want to start a debate it just said that both of Maru's groups have been at awful times for me so im super salty about it :D Plus i even more salty when i see the view numbers are around 10-12k for NA and its 15k plus for EU times group which is a midweek! However again it just me venting :D

I would like to see them experiment some more and have a GSL broadcast at an EU friendly time but in the weekend instead of during a workweek.

11pm on Friday night isnt what I call NA friendly. Sure it s ok for the west coast but still pretty bad for the East coast. 12EU is 6pm korea and 6am east coast (acceptable).
Anyways I hope to see sos vs maru

Losing Scarlett's friday night series didn't help.
Not like you can blame Afreeca for that one though.

Hope for some tight games but hard to see someone other than sOs and Maru advancing personally. Don't mind being proven wrong though.

Maru doesn't like TvT, but he's really, really good at it, so yeah.

Curious to see what his answers are for PvT are considering all the concerns about balance/win rates

Keen scouts sOs's play but sOs seizes back control through some good pickoffs.

KeeN messed up that attack. You really need widow mines to protect your tanks.
