I binge watched the season 1 of the TV series on some long flight. Man, I am really getting to hate Martin Freeman - which is a positive thing because he plays these really hateable characters, so that's good acting

I didn't watch the series but the movie is hilarious. If you like Fargo, you'll like this.
I also learned from it that there are a lot of similarities between Dutch and Norwegian, same as Swedish. I could actually understand quite a bit without looking at the subtitles. Heh, dunno why I had to mention that :p

Billy Bob Thornton was also great in it imo, Fargo is imo definitely one of the better series of the last years.

Yeah, the whole series essentially lives with Thornton's character, almost everything he says is instant classic I know that it would get old fast and that the one-series per story format is perfect for this material, but it's still sad that there will never be anything more of that.

Oh for sure! So many great scenes with him in there. Second season was also quite good imo.
