Too bad you can't make roaches and queens when you're not Zerg. Seriously what purpose does your comment serve? I don't think anyone complained about the nydus in ZvZ. Of course it's pretty much figured out in all MUs at this point, but how do these games prove that?

What do we know about Stats and Dark in LotV? I see that Dark 3-0ed Classic to get to this match, so he's probably favored, right?

Yesterday they looked equally bad in another matchup. But lots of people still complain about it while it's easy to stop.

It's not broken or anything, but invulnerability is not a good game mechanic either.

For the record there's now a solid chance Solar reaches the grand finals playing only ZvZ.

OP or not, I want to know how solar figured it out. He only saw no third base, and two queens on the ramp, right? My razor-sharp gold intuition would assume 2 base muta, but it seemed like solar was pretty convinced that it was a nydus. How did he manage to outperform my golden game-sense skillz?? :o

Seen enough muta players complain about it.
Anyway I party agree with you but if you remove it the nydus just becomes bad again and only working because your opponent never even considers it anymore.

I just wish they'd given the nydus a lot of armor while it's going up instead of making it flatly invulnerable in beta. Just to try whether that works out similarly. Either way it stays an all-in mechanic.

Someone proposed Nydus needing creep in yesterday's LR. That way at least it's (probably) always spotted

KT clearly wins. That Samsung sweater has a weird green stripe.

Anyway I party agree with you but if you remove it the nydus just becomes bad again and only working because your opponent never even considers it anymore. Add delay on transfuse, that's the start. Then you can add insane armor to the nydus worm(it is a worm that goes through some tough shit and survives, armor should be OK). Give it a short-term immunity - similar to vortex thing. This could make it workable. You cannot kill it with workers(armor), you need units, you cannot transfuse it with spamming transfuses like a madman(that's just pure idiocy, seeing how big burst damage you need to win against transfuses).
I would try +6 armor and 4sec invulnerability. Maybe HP buff.
