He used more scans and less mules, to be able to stay on 3 for longer without mining out as he continued to deny 3rd for a surprising amount of time. All in all setting himself up for a win... Curious picked off two full medivacs and this allowed him to get 4th and deny T 4th... T couldn't move out because of mutas. But Z messed up and lost too many mutas. Allowed T to get 4th and move out... Almost killing 5th (and 4th?) but not being able to. Still T was a tiny bit ahead in supply, but behind in income... And then ultras happened and 2 minuts later the game was over and Z won? I don't play TvZ or ZvT. I haven't watched more than maybe 20-30 games of it in LotV. Not while paying attention anyway. All I feel like is Z would never have won a game that played out like this in Hots. Am I way off or what? in tvz it's either kill him before ultras or die

Not the -cleanest- set I've ever seen, but definitely enjoyable.

Might as well prevent Z from dictating the engagements so you can take them. Sure you won't immediately have the ability to win on open ground, but you can fly around and rip them apart.

If the game is even, or its some kind of scrappy game with lower economy than normal (like this one was), ultras fully upgraded means game over (even like 4~5 ultras) cause T doesn't have the economy to switch to ghosts

He could've transitioned, but he decided to go more into libs and thors instead. I definitely agree that ultras are /hard/ to beat, but they're not impossible. He also could've gone full into the counterattack style, but instead he tried to pick a fight head-on which is exactly how you get trashed by ultras when your composition sucks. I have no clue if ultras are OP, but if they are that game doesn't show it.
