What happened was: Byun had 2 medivacs left, 2 medivacs right - all to deny Curious' 4th for as long as possible. Curious, knowing this, builds an army to break out. Curious catches and kills the medivacs on the left. That basically guarantees him a 4th. He's done what he needed to in order to break out. This is where Byun makes his first big mistake. What's the one thing you shouldn't do, knowing that Curious had been building an army to break out? Well, a frontal attack for example. But that's exactly what Byun did. Naturally he lost the fight and threw all his advantages with it. Suddenly Curious doesn't have to worry about dying anytime soon, mutas are free to go across the map, he's easily able to secure a 4th and tech to hive. All map control that Byun had immediately goes to Curious. So Curious makes his superior army without any worries. That's when Byun made his second big mistake. He was already in a bad spot, don't get me wrong, but fighting Curious' army head on is certain death. Think about how people dealt with BL/infestor. You didn't fight it, you killed their whole economy first, then slowly chipped away at their army until they dried up and had nothing left. If you fought it, you died. Well, that's what Byun did. | ||
