I first saw the name "DRGLing" looking at the Liquipedia article for Code A and thought it was a troll edit or something. There wasn't an article for "DRGLing" at the time. Then I saw the real DRG's in the same event and figured it's a real guy unrelated to DRG.

its not so much a balance complaint as a design complaint. and anyways it's just my initial feelings after seeing ZvP for a few weeks.

That's the big weakness of that composition in TvZ really. Muta/bane/ling is better against drops but worse in straight up fights due to libs > mutas and less lings/bane than in HotS due to less larva.

Yeah the warren was way too late. He also made a round of 6 drones when he pushed the first 5 reapers back down a few cliffs, but they just healed up and snowballed. He really coulda used the extra units on defense.

The only reason it doesn't dominate pvz too is because of chrono change you can't just make a shitton of adepts by banking chrono and overwhelm zerg production even in it's nerfed form and later lurkers ultras and broodlords make them irrelevant.

It's a 2-1-1 base tile, 3-2-1 tile if you have a mine on it, plus it can be upgraded with religion modifiers. It usually comes in bunches too so it's just a great resource to have.

I don't think those statistics mean much when we've seen an example of a potential problem. If the other protosses played much worse or didn't pick up on these builds, sure, but you can't look at the past games and tell me Seed's build was fair for a terran to deal with.

not to mention that excluding all balance stuff, it's just terrible design. "Hey, let me shade in my army onto yours so you can't get the angle that you set up for." and not to mention all the other things a player has to worry about with the ability to shade in for a free scout, cancel the shade, whatever.

Seed took the main engagement at 1700 minerals. This is why Bomber could hold, and seed was able to win anyway (he had done a lot of SCV damage earlier, and the trade was still okay for him.

When the betting line thing first started occuring more, one of the games was INnoVation was Super. INno was highly favored to win the series, but for the only map Super won, the betting lines were extremely shifted in favor of Super. So it wouldn't be a completely new occurence.
That said, it's still possible there was not actually any matchfixing going on in either of these cases. So meh.

This game he killed a bit more SCV but it's still ridiculous that he can keep going fine after such a failed attack, problem is Bomber started too many things (4th CC, ghost academy, had 2-2 ongoing vs 0-0, didn't produce tanks) at once because he probably didn't expect Seed to be able to still have so much / allin which was a mistake.
He might have held with three or four bunkers.

Yeah pretty sure he sent out most if not all of his bio and got caught near the 4th/5th. Can't remember how much of it he lost there though.
