He didn't have to fight under 3 siege tanks and a liberator immediately. And if he was serious about it he should have pulled the drones to attack since there were no medivacs anyway.

Sure I am not a pro, but the BOs of them against every time the same strategy are not exactly the standard counters to reapers, and they didnt work obviously. Why not just mass speedlings and be done with it? I think roaches are the most standard counter against them. With 3rax reapers when you mass lings and they mass reapers and they just stay out of harms way, you eventually end up with a shitty drone count and he still has his massive reaper army to fight another day. You have to hope for the terran to overcommit with his reapers if you mass lings. Which will often happen, but you give the game complete into the hands of the Terran decision making.

It's the same on the terran side you have to constantly juge when to stop and transition. Counter attack is often a bad idea due to how grenades are good to delay the push. There is no easy response to this build. except some blind counter.

With purely defensive roaches I can agree as one of the standard counters. However he sacrificed alot to make alot of them. And then you attack and you get exactly what you saw here: Despite it being close spawns your roaches arrive with half HP due to all the grenades. And then actually MarineLord should have had 5 SCVs repairing that bunker, on the other hand even without that he defended fine. It was just completely throwing away those units without any gain.

His gain was that he got rid of the reapers and forced Mlord into a 2base build with late tech and no upgrades. The economy after that wasn't that bad for Elazor in comparison to his opponent imo, he just didn't scout the 2 base allin follow up.
