Even so, if TY had 600-800 in Turrets for one base, did you think he'd hold off all those mutas? No, Dark would go elsewhere. How about 4-6 mines (only if dark is slacking and lets his mutas fly into that recklessly - which he is too good do something that noobish)? A couple of Thors? No, because the inherent problem is that Turrets are immobile even in large numbers, Mines can move, but are required to burrow so caught off guard they too are extremely easy to kill, and Thors are slow as hell and can easily be hard countered via magic box. Compare that to the level of mobility and ease of upgraded mutas with a few overseers flying all over in a map.
Dark is a damn good player and he exploited TY's weakness just fine. But I still despise mutas as they are in crippling Terran easier than drops can ever do in regards to cost efficiency. I remember ages ago in WoL Mana had the problem where practically any what seems like any EU GM zerg can just mass muta against him and he'd fold so easily, even if he knew it was coming.
