The idea is similar (fly in with a prism and charge while they're out of their base), but the build itself is super different. SaSe has no upgrades with that and rushes the templar archives out. The build Yonghwa did rushes the forge super fast to have +2 armor with his first prism drop while not getting the templar archives at all and instead relying on constant immortal production to keep himself safe at home. A stupid delayed Colossus build that cost him the game, instead of going straight for Templar and riding his lead to the win

Delayed templar archives -> storm -> late 2/1 charge/storm/immortal timing would have wrecked Dream. That's the way HerO transitions with the build too. Especially because you already have +2 armor super fast to go with it, why then transition to a unit composition that doesn't benefit nearly as much from armor upgrades?

I agree it is different build. Yonghwa's is greedy as to building immortal instead of making early sentries. I believe the immortal is for dealing with widow mines. Though no one makes many sentries defensivelly in pvt in early but uses photon overcharge. Easier 3rd base defense (for that suboptimal location) ?

The immortals are really for head on fights, a pure gateway army doesn't kill MMM fast enough. The immortals actually kill marauders before they can get healed. And they do help target down mines as well. I think Yonghwa could've just stayed on charge/archon/templar and gotten storm. He killed over 20 SCVs, doesn't matter if Dream makes mines or not, he can't make enough units to support them to kill Yonghwa if he just stays on that. Transitioning into something completely different made his army weak

Also sad for Yonghwa. He looked like he was finally going to make to the ro16.
