That being said this works only for stalkers, most protoss units have more hitpoints than shields, and there's always the fact that they have +1 base armor, which means that adding a further +1 will make more difference.
The stalkers still have to take what would've been armor damage for the shield upgrade to be effective.
For example, say a stalker takes 50 damage without shield upgrade, and 45 damage with shield upgrade. Then the upgrade had no effect, since they still will heal up to full shields.
So it's only for the small window where they take >80 damage without upgrades where the shield upgrade has an effect. And it's only when it happens more than once where shield upgrades are better than armor upgrades.

Ok , now I get your point. Still, usually as a protoss player you want to have the shields completely taken out before blinking a stalker back, so what you describe shouldn't happen that often.

yeah they should adjust the resolution so it's easier to see. It's still kinda hard to read with fullscreen 1080p monitor.
