I remember testing a long time ago, and banshees trade almost 2 for 1 for stalkers, and I'm sure with 7 range you could probably take 2 on.
Since it needs a fusion core won't you be susceptible to some form of gateway facerush before you get there.

I don't think you can really judge P's ability to deal with BCs that game, Terran got to sneak a super early third and the banshee harass did quite a bit of damage.
