Top 3 foreigners + rest of the acer zergs + possible interesting new player = a good day. Hopefully I can watch some of it from work.

who is DMC? According to sc2ranks he's only mid/high master on the EU server, which seems a bit underwhelming compared to the other players... Or does he play on a different account?
Edit: also noticed that he beat Kas at DH moscow, and Marinelord to qualify for this tournament. I guess we'll see how his PvZ is tomorrow.

He's a top100 GM Protoss.

DMC is russian protoss player, currently ranked top ~50 GM on EU ladder.

Scarlett got this one so easy just a warm up till finals.

An unknown player who has no Liquipedia entry and no results is playing in a "Foreign Hope" tournament? Do we really have so few actual notable foreign players that we're adding fillers to foreign tournaments now? Surely you could find a better and more popular Protoss player, like Puck, who might actually represent a Foreign Hope?
Well I guess it would make for a decent breakout story if DMC actually won the tournament. (And then he can move on to Koreans...) Otherwise, I expect Bunny, Scarlett, and Snute to end up in the top three spots, and then Nerchio, Bly, and DMC in the bottom three.

Yea I agree that she most likely has the best chances, Snute and Bunny are probably taking a break while she should still be practicing hard.

It just means that there are always new players on the rise, since he qualified and earned the spot. It's a good thing.
I mean why the fuck would you want to see the same players over and over again. I guess we could keep watching the same 20 players forever, but I'm glad for every qualifier spot we have in tournaments. I wish every tournament had way more qualifier spots instead of invites, then we would see way more change in the scene.

Well having an unknown player in a tournament against seasoned pros means that he might eventually be on the rise, but maybe I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning ^^ I think the title is a bit sensationalist, but I guess that's to get viewers' attention. If it's to actually establish "the foreign hope", then I think my disagreement is pretty justified.
