The reason it was so successful is because of how close the bases were (Polt's right side and Suppy's third and fourth). We used to see mine fields like that pretty often on Whirlwind because the map architecture held very similar layouts to that map. It also explains why exactly suppy was so intent on denying Polt from getting a planetary at that position. Without that spot to fall back to Polt loses a huge avenue from which to attack. | ||
