Why would you disqualify 3 good players when they destroyed the season just because 1 additional player left the team?

They probably would have rather played with only Starbuck, Hasu, Heromarine and someone from the management than forfit the spot and I doubt, that that would have made you happier.

It was the admins decision absolute bullshit, this league has been a farce even though it might be a "on-the-fly" decision, it's most reasonable thing they could have done. i would say that most people want to see a bo9 and it's a great opportunity for sjaak for example to show himself, who wasn't able to show himself too much because of the age restriction in WCS
and deresponsabilize team management while meaning your rules are shit that can be overthrown everytime it's needed. Mouz fucked up badly in their roster management regarding their commitment to the ATC and Take come to save them. After the K3 incident it's so laughable.

In Gumba's case he had a bad month after Inno lost in everything in that 1-2 day period.

bad management doesn't deserve a reward. it just shows how much of a joke esport is when you don't even need to respect your engagement to get into prizepool.

Small recap:
Rules clearly state no mercs or partnerships for this season. Bountry Hunters and XMG (both german based and XMG sponsors of TakeTV events) blatantly break this rule and admins make up an excuse that you can partner with organisations, just not teams. Admins are then quoted saying that you could have teamed with KESPA if you had wished. Yeah right.
Season starts and suddenly admins are extremely overly harsh towards teams and EG&iG gets forfeited maps because they turn up a minute late. Teams are later told they can't add players for playoffs or prior to playoffs. Certain teams with new players can't use them.
Playoffs start and mouz (once again german based) are suddenly allowed to add new players, and admins do this without even consulting with other participating teams despite it being against the rules.
I probably missed something.

Or have an academy thing. Or a decent size roster. Or you can try to anticipate the leaving of some players. you could even do bo7 just like PL did.

then admins allow them to play despite their management failing to comply with the rules. But ATC admins have been on MLG level since the beginning tbh.

Most of the time contracts end at a certain date. If this date is during a league, then perhaps it's best to have an extra player. But nah, that would take too much effort.

There was a very low point during the MLG Anahiem rulebook shitposting period.
